After 38 years of teaching (yes, 38!), I retired just two years ago. But if you know me, you know I wasn’t about to sit still for long!Between us, Trent and I have three amazing children, two daughters-in-love, and the absolute light of our lives—five precious grandchildren. Life for us is all about family, faith, and making memories, whether that’s reading with the grandkids, walking our sweet pup, or enjoying sunset cruises on the lake. But let’s talk fashion and faith. After retiring from education, I began praying and patiently waiting for the next chapter God had in store. And just like that, a door opened when Samantha—someone I’ve admired for years—decided to focus full-time on her growing bakery business. I had shopped at Your Beautiful Boutique for over seven years and absolutely loved everything it stood for: style, confidence, community, and heart. When Samantha decided to pass the torch, I’ll admit, I had a few long talks with God. But every sign pointed YES.
